Student Policy & Terms and Conditions
1. GENERAL TERMS
The most up-to-date information regarding classes, timetable, locations, and prices is always available on our website:
www.paradizodance.com.au
In the event of any discrepancy, the Paradizo App (Wellness Living) always contains the most current information.
We strongly recommend:

Following our Facebook page and groups for updates and announcements
2. ATTENDING CLASSES

Class spaces are limited
-
Entry is strictly first come, first served
-
Arrive early to secure your spot
3. TIMETABLE CHANGES
Paradizo reserves the right to:

Add classes
-
Remove classes
-
Change instructors
-
Adjust schedules
No notice may be given.
The App timetable is always the official reference.
4. YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY
By attending classes, you confirm that:

You are in good physical health
-
You are not aware of any medical condition that prevents participation
-
You are not sick and infectious to others
Our instructors are not medical professionals.
If unsure, seek medical advice before participating.
Waiver
You acknowledge that participation involves physical risk and voluntarily accept all associated risks.
5. MEDIA CONSENT (IMAGE USE)
By participating in Paradizo activities, you agree that we may:

Photograph or film classes, events, rehearsals, and workshops

Use your image in marketing and promotional materials
This includes:

Social media
-
Website
-
Flyers
-
Videos
-
Advertising materials
6. PAYMENTS & MEMBERSHIPS
Payment Structure

Memberships are charged every 28 days (4 weeks)
-
Payments are charged in advance
-
If joining mid-cycle, you will be charged for the remaining period
Payments appear as:
“PARADIZO DANCE”
Member Responsibility
You are responsible for:
-
Ensuring sufficient funds
-
Updating payment details at least 48 hours before debit
-
Notifying us of account closure/transfers
Failed Payments
If payment fails:
-
Access to classes may be suspended
-
Fees will continue to be debited
-
May apply admin fees
7. FEES & PRICE CHANGES

Fees are displayed on website and at reception
-
Website pricing is the official reference
Paradizo reserves the right to increase fees at any time.
We will attempt to notify members via email.
Membership price changes only apply after current contract ends.
8. AUTO-RENEWAL & CANCELLATION
Auto-Renewal

Memberships automatically renew monthly unless cancelled
-
7 days notice required before expiry to stop renewal
Cancellation Notice

30 days written notice required: info@paradizodance.com.au
Cancellation Policy
Within 24 hours of first payment:

You may cancel
-
$35 cancellation fee applies
After 24 hours:
-
No refunds
-
Full remaining balance is payable
Medical Cancellation
Allowed only if:
-
Medical certificate confirms inability to exercise
Outcomes:
-
50% refund of remaining term
-
No cancellation fee
9. MEMBERSHIP TRANSFERS
Memberships are non-transferable.
10. BOOTCAMPS & WORKSHOPS
-
No refunds on pre-paid bootcamps or workshops
11. CLASS CANCELLATIONS (HOLIDAYS & EVENTS)
Paradizo may cancel classes due to:

Public holidays
-
Events
-
Studio breaks
-
Unforeseen circumstances
No refunds or credits will be issued.
12. SUSPENSION / FREEZE POLICY
Membership freezes allowed:
-
3-month membership: 1 month max
-
6-month membership: up to 2 months
-
12-month membership: up to 3 months
-
Auto-renew members: up to 1 month per 6 months
Rules:
-
Minimum 2 weeks per freeze request
-
3 working days notice required
-
Cannot backdate freezes
-
Must have no outstanding fees
13. WEDDING DANCE LESSONS
-
Late arrivals cannot extend lesson time
-
24 hours notice required to reschedule
-
Less than 24 hours = lesson forfeited
-
Cancellations = 50% refund
-
If Paradizo cancels: full refund or reschedule
14. STUDIO CODE & SAFETY
Respect & Responsibility

Treat facilities with care

You are liable for damage caused
Belongings

Store valuables safely

Paradizo not responsible for loss or theft
Parking

Not responsible for vehicle damage or loss or tickets
-
Do not park in tow away zones spaces
15. STUDENT SAFETY & CONDUCT POLICY

Zero tolerance for harassment or unsafe behaviour.
15.2 EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR

15.3 CONSENT IN DANCE

You may refuse or stop a dance anytime
-
No partner rotation is mandatory
-
“No” must always be respected
15.4 UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR FROM ANYONE
Includes and applies to students, staff members and external vistitors:

Sexual harassment
-
Unwanted touching
-
Pressure or intimidation
-
Bullying, stalking, threats
-
Disrespectful rude or agressive behaviour
-
Inappropriate comments and messaging
-
Inappropriate invitations or outside trainings
Applies to all classes, socials, workshops, and online spaces.
15.5 SOCIAL EVENTS

Respect boundaries

Drink responsibly if applicable

Staff are present for safety
15.6 REPORTING ISSUES

15.9 POLICY ENFORCEMENT
Violations may result in:

Removal from class/event

16. PRIVACY POLICY

17. EXTERNAL PROVIDERS

18. BUSINESS RIGHTS
Paradizo may:
